Physically-based rendering
A powerful new addition to HitFilm 16 is an update to the rendering engine which now supports physically-based rendering. Version 16 will support glTF files for 3D assets as well as 3D model animation. Pro users and Express users who own the 3D Model Render add-on will have access to high-fidelity 3D rendering, with 'metallic-roughness' and 'specular-glossiness' materials. Model reflections will also respond to user-defined environment maps, adding a whole new level to the 3D realism available in HitFilm.
